Joseph and Vicky spend three days at his family's long-abandoned ancestral home, tasked by his father with clearing the overgrown yard and tidying up the interior. The property is vast and has been neglected for years. Tall weeds have taken over the grounds, while the inside is grimy and filled with the stale smell of a house left closed for far too long.
They begin working that afternoon, but the sheer size of the house and its grounds makes it obvious that the job will take several days to complete.
On the second day of their stay, however, Joseph discovers Antonis in the yard, a wandering homeless man with a strong social conscience and existential concerns. The two of them work side by side outdoors, while Vicky learns more about Joseph's family history and the secrets of 
his past.

Η ιστορία ακολουθεί τον Ιωσήφ και τη Βίκυ, οι οποίοι επισκέπτονται το εγκαταλελειμμένο πατρικό σπίτι του Ιωσήφ με σκοπό να το καθαρίσουν. Εκεί, ο Ιωσήφ συναντά τυχαία τον Αντώνη, έναν ήσυχο, περιπλανώμενο άνδρα (drifter). Ανάμεσα στους δύο άνδρες αρχίζει να αναπτύσσεται μια ιδιαίτερη, αλλόκοτη και υποβλητική σχέση, η οποία κινείται ανάμεσα στην ψυχολογική ένταση και σε κρυμμένα, ανείπωτα συναισθήματα, επηρεάζοντας τις ισορροπίες της καθημερινότητάς τους.
