Elena's Shift

Elena, a Romanian single mother, cleans the Athens metro while raising her son Luca, in a cramped apartment under the shadow of her controlling mother Ada. When she is unjustly fired by Ecoclean, the shady cleaning company that employs her, she turns to the local union for help. There she meets Yota, a charismatic lawyer who rekindles Elena's fighting spirit. As the two women join forces to challenge Ecoclean, their connection deepens into a romance, awakening forgotten desires. Elena feels seen, and dares to imagine a new kind of family for herself and Luca.

But Ecoclean strikes back with legal threats and intimidation, sparking fear within the union. While Yota agrees to retreat, Elena feels compelled to act. When she stumbles upon damning evidence that could bring Ecoclean down, Elena faces a heart-wrenching choice: remain silent to preserve her fragile home and family, or risk everything to do what she believes is right.

Oταν απολύεται άδικα, ο εύθραυστος κόσμος της καταρρέει και το καταπιεσμένο της αγωνιστικό πνεύμα ξυπνά. Αποφασισμένη να διεκδικήσει δικαιοσύνη, απευθύνεται στη Γιώτα, μια χαρισματική δικηγόρο, και ανακαλύπτει έναν δεσμό που αναζωπυρώνει την επιθυμία της να ζήσει, να ανοίξει την καρδιά της και να κρατήσει το κεφάλι ψηλά με αξιοπρέπεια. Καθώς η Eλενα έρχεται αντιμέτωπη με τη συστημική αδικία και αγωνίζεται να ξαναβρεί τη φωνή της, θα πρέπει με θάρρος να αποφασίσει τι έχει για εκείνη τη μεγαλύτερη σημασία: η οικογένειά της, τα ιδανικά της ή η ευκαιρία να αγαπήσει ξανά.
