The Greek Orthodox Community of St George Brisbane is pleased to announce that this year’s Greek Film Festival program will commence on Wednesday, 4 November 2026 and will run through to Sunday, 8 November 2026.
This year’s program is one of the best ever that has been curated for Brisbane. There is something for everyone.

Celebrate the opening of the 2026 Brisbane Film Festival and the screening of Friends Forever on 4 November 2026. Enjoy Greek hospitality at the after screening cocktail reception with fine Greek wines from Domaine Skouras one of Greece’s finest wine producers and a selection of exquisite Mediterranean inspired catering.
Admission for the Opening Screening and Cocktail Reception is $50.00
Opening with Best Friends Forever (Φιλοι για Παντα) on Wednesday 4 November 2026, a comedy which will set the tone for the this years festival. The film festival concludes on Sunday 8 November 2026 with a moving and uplifting film Saint Paisios (Αγιος Παισιος) of Mt. Athos.
Members of the Greek Orthodox Community of St George Brisbane can purchase tickets for each film other than opening night for $20.00 (a $5.00 discount). The discount also applies to Pension Card Holders and Star Club Members.
