The only religious site destroyed on 9/11 rebuilds on America’s most sacred ground.

St Nicholas’ Greek Orthodox Church came to an untimely end as part of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York.

As well as detailing the church’s physical reconstruction – the new building has been designed by renowned neo-futurist architect, Spain’s Santiago Calatrava - Alexandra Liveris’ short documentary looks at America’s response to a devastating national tragedy and how the St Nicholas community hopes their new church will become an international shrine.
