From darkness into light… via a pudding.
When Nara introduces Cal to her yia yia’s (grandmother) crème kataifi*, things seem just that little bit brighter. This may even change his life. As any Greek will tell you, never underestimate the healing power of your yia yia’s cooking.
*Crème kataifi is a traditional Greek dessert made of shredded sweet pastry baked with almonds and cinnamon, then soaked in syrup and covered with custard and cream. The version used in this short film is by a recipe from the producer’s yia yia.
