Director Natalie Cunningham
Australia, 2013, 13mins (Short)

The story of a young poet following a hip-hop dream.

Following on from last year’s feel-good ode to her grandmother, You Know What? I Love You (GFF 2013), Natalie Cunningham returns with this rousing portrait of a young Australian rapper with a South Sudanese background.

Ror Akot may be only 17 years of age but he’s creating waves in hip-hop circles. His determination to succeed and motivation sets an inspiring example for a new generation of Australians.

Natalie Cunningham’s feature-length documentary, Following Shira’s Journey: A Greek-Jewish Odyssey, also makes its World Premiere at this year’s Greek Film Festival.
