« One of the more original, willfully bizarre films of the year. » Sundance Film Festival
Beginning with an ode to a bear and then ending with one to the sea, L is every bit as absurd as its single letter title (referring to the L-plate when learning to drive a vehicle).
A man lives in his car. He is 40 years old and, although he does not have a lot of free time, he chooses to spend it with his family that he meets at a specified day and time in car parking lots. His job is to locate and then bring the finest honey to a 50 year-old man but, when a new driver shows up, he gets fired and his life completely changes.
Screened in competition at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival (world premiere), and nominated for the Tiger Award at the 2012 Rotterdam International Film Festival
Trivia: Co-written by celebrated Alps and Dogtooth scribe Efthimis Filippou.
